JUSTICELIST.  The Council runs the Justicelist listserv to notify CKCPJ members and the public about upcoming events, meetings, and legislation (local and national).   Subscribers to Justicelist receive 3 to 5 email alerts each week.

Justicelist is not a discussion listserv.   Subscribers receive NO chat, opinion pieces, cartoons, jokes, etc.   We limit postings on Justicelist to legislative alerts and announcements of events.  The events and alerts posted on Justicelist originate from groups that hold a wide range views.  The CKCPJ believes that all the posting are intended to advance peace,  justice or a cleaner environment. That said, the CKCPJ does not necessarily endorse the views of the originators of any given posting.

All current Justicelist events and alerts are stored on our Justicelist site.  You can check out this site by clicking here.

If you are interested in subscribing to the Justicelist listserv, please click here .   To submit a posting to the list, please contact Richard Mitchell.

NOPREEMPTION Join a community conversation among central Kentucky progressives by subscribing to the Nopreemption Listserv Nopreemption is a forum for progressive discussion about peace, justice, and environmental action.  It is lightly m0derated to maintain a civil discussion and to ensure that the discussion is among progressives.   (There are plenty of other sites where non-progressives can promote there views.)

Nopreemption members can post directly to the listserv.  In addition to participating in the conversation, nopreemption members post a wealth of information, including, essays, op eds, articles, comics, flash videos, and germane political humor.   As a result, Nopreemption is sometimes very busy.

We ask those who post to Nopreemption to accurately label the subject lines of postings, so that readers can decide which postings they needed to read.  We also ask subscribers to limit postings to two per day.  To get the most out of Nopreemption, we recommend that you follow "threads" that give all the responses to a given posting.  Judicious use of your 'delete' key will also improve your Nopreemption experience.

To subscribe to Nopreemption, send a blank email to the following address: click Nopreemption Subscribe.   Once you have subscribed, you can post messages directly to Nopreemption by sending them to: Nopreemption Post
